The Youth Theatre Center of the Belarusian State Youth Theatre starts a cultural and educational event program and invites students of creative professions, teachers and active young people to participate in it.
Meetings, lectures, excursions and master classes will allow you to connect with the history of the Youth Theatre, get acquainted with its "inner workings" and discover some secrets of professional skills.
The play takes place in the Moscow police department. Nikolay, the detainee, is a thirty-year-old resident of Podolsk, situated near Moscow, waits in fear for the explanations, why he is brought here and what is his fault.
But the usual interrogation in such a situation turns into an intellectual and personal test, which turns out for the character to be worse than moral and physical humiliations.
The main character returns from Australia to his native yard, where he spent his childhood. And he remembers himself as Sashka-Pelican, the friendship proven in wall-to-wall fist fighting behind garages with little boys from the yard, and the love stories of guys and girls, their parents and even lonely pensioners.
But the house, where families were friends, quarreled, joked and raised children together, is demolished. The childhood friends became adults and live without knowing their neighbors. The past remained only in memory with children's promises, big dreams and passing days.
